two years ago by veteran members of Misery, Destroy, and Civil Disobedience,
DISRESPECT spent their first year and half playing covers of classic 80's
punk anthems. Coinciding with the addition of a new female vocalist, they
started to write their own songs in the same anthemic, sing-along style.
In he fall of 2003, they released a basement-recorded demo of six original
songs. Over the winter they visited Melvin Ray Studio, the same studio
responsible for many classic Profane Existence Records recordings, to
re-record five of the six songs for an EP release.

brand new tracks from Minneapolis' purvayers of the classic, pissed-off
punk rock sound. Unlike their much rougher debut EP, these new songs were
written to highlight the differences betwen the three vocalists (one male,
one female, and one of questionable allegience). All the lyrics are bitingly
angry commentaries about the current social and political situation in
which we are forced to exist. Musically this falls somewhere between One
Way System, Discharge, Conflict, and Civilised Society.

80's punk rock, ranging from Riot City to Crass to Discharge. With two
male and one female vocalist, they hit their message home with a non-stop
vocal barrage, directed against such poignant topics as religious intolerance,
the senselessness of joining the military, police brutality, and western
governments' complicity in genocide in the third world. Disrespect are
comprised of veteran members of Minneapolis punk mainstains such as Misery,
Civild Disobedience, Destroy and Pissed, Disrespect are rapidly making
an inroad towards passing along their passion for punk and politics to
