uv lac. Sure, DISMA ain’t the first and the last so-called ‘supergroup’ to
have emerged from the deepest vaults of the underground over the recent
years. But very few have such a coherent and impressive resume in death
fuckin’ metal: not only Daryl Kahan (guitar) and Shawn Eldridge (drums) are
churning one of the vilest form of DM possible with Funebrarum but out of the
three remaining members of this New Jersey squad put together in 2007, two
have all served in one point or another in the mighty Incantation. Most
notably Craig Pillard whose absolutely monstrous vocals performance on
‘Onward To Golgotha’ (1992) and ‘Mortal Throne Of Nazarene’ (1994) has left a
still visible today red mark on the genre’s forehead. Not one to shy away
from a challenge, Finland’s WINTERWOLF picks up the gauntlet and run with it.
For those who’ve missed on the early 90’s Stockholm-influenced debut ‘Cycle
Of The Werewolk’, “Eaters Of The Cross” hammers down the point with style
with a creepy intro reminiscent of Entombed’s “Left Hand Path” and guitars
fatter than your old mama’s greasy bottom. But hey, what else can we expect
from a bunch of old-school noise terrorists who’ve learn their chops in
Delerium’s Order, Deathchain and – oh yes – the mighty
Demilich?

two years ago by veteran members of Misery, Destroy, and Civil Disobedience,
DISRESPECT spent their first year and half playing covers of classic 80's
punk anthems. Coinciding with the addition of a new female vocalist, they
started to write their own songs in the same anthemic, sing-along style.
In he fall of 2003, they released a basement-recorded demo of six original
songs. Over the winter they visited Melvin Ray Studio, the same studio
responsible for many classic Profane Existence Records recordings, to
re-record five of the six songs for an EP release.
