2 new amazing songs by Copenhagens THE ASSASSINATORS. A bit more Iron Maiden meets Bad Religion as their older releases (www.myspace.com/theassassinators). Now they team up on this split EP with one of our favourite Japanese bands. D.S.B. are play radical Japanese hardcore punk!. D.S.B. channel their anger and disappointment into this very aggressive release. There is a more harmonized vocal approach on this release, which is a departure from their shouted deliveries on past releases. Not to worry you diehards, these harmonies will stick to your ribs! |

Stealing their name from an Anti-Cimex song, this
Californian three piece fits in with their west coast contemporaries MUNDO
MUERTO, NERVESKADE, and HELPLESS. This EP is a follow-up to their 2010 DEMO
with a more polished and explosive sound; think aggressive, thrashing metal
tinged guitar, thundering D-Beat rhythms, and angry, angry vocals combined
into a crushing monster of Scandi-infulenced crust. Fans of the previously
mentioned bands, along with NYC's NOMAD, PERDITION, and CERVIX, shouldn't

DISCHARGE |
Realities Of War |
The classic first 7" from Discharge circa 1980.
A monumental record that helped jumpstart the hardcore movement around the
world. This is one of a handful of records from 1980 that pushed 70's punk
into the bleak era of the 1980's hardcore scene. Discharge set the standard
with their raw and uncompromising visual style and unbridled hardcore punk
music. |

DISCHARGE |
Fight Back |
Five song blast of pure anger and energy, Dishcarge
is at their finest here. Pure be beat raw punk against which all the
successors can be measured. This hard driving music is the perfect vehicle
for the outrage at war and oppression conveyed by the harsh lyrics and
graphics. |
Havoc |

DISCHARGE |
Decontrol |
Classic three song rager from 1980. Less than a year
removed from "realities of war" the sound is already faster and
more aggressive, leaving 70's punk behind and blazing into pure hardcore raw
punk. This record has three of Discharge's best songs which are just pure
blasts of raw anger and urgency. Hardcore punk at it's best. |
Havoc |

|
DISCHARGE |
Never Again |
It's 1981, the cold war rages, threatening to turn
hot at any moment as Reagan, Thatcher and Brezhnev seem poised to destroy the
world in a descent to nuclear madness. Using cover art appropriated from
1930's anti fascist agit-prop Discharge links the bleak reality of Thatcher's
Britain with the descent to totalitarian oppression and war of an earlier
generation. A bit more polished than the first three EPs and the Why?
12", Never Again delivers three blasts of hardcore punk. The bass
playing in "Two Monstrous Nuclear Stockpiles" is probably my
favorite on any hardcore record ever. |
Havoc |

DISCHARGE |
State Violence State Control |
Discharge's fifth 7", from 1982. The sound is a
bit less raw and there is a tiny bit of the metal influence starting to show.

manifest on these tracks. |

In A Bag |
Four
brand new tracks from Minneapolis' purvayers of the classic, pissed-off
punk rock sound. Unlike their much rougher debut EP, these new songs were
written to highlight the differences betwen the three vocalists (one male,
one female, and one of questionable allegience). All the lyrics are bitingly
angry commentaries about the current social and political situation in
which we are forced to exist. Musically this falls somewhere between One
Way System, Discharge, Conflict, and Civilised Society. |

a split EP with Southern California's HOLOKAUST. They have really solidified
with the four new tracks here, easily being the best songs and recordings
to date. If you like bands such as STATE OF FEAR, COSNUMER, and A.O.S.
then you're going to love DISSYSTEMA. The sleeve features one of the most
beautiful pieces of cover art Marald has ever done for and there's even
a patch included inside the record. |

After over 10 years of destroying ears and live

compilation, Tsuyama Japan's Disturd finally sees their first release! Here
we have 3 tracks of loud blown-out hardcore metal punk in the vein of S.D.S.
or “Out from the Void” era Anti-Sect with a touch of Extreme Noise Terror for
good measure. Punishing drums and shredding guitars coupled with some truly
intense vocals. Super blown-out recording but not in the noisy feed-back way
that’s become so popular. Get your stereo cranked up to 11, really great
stuff. One of the most exciting bands playing right now! |

Following on the wake of their amazing first LP, DON'T has released this powerful single. DOOMSDAY HOUR |
A Long March Of Progress |
Latest record, DISCHARGE style d-beat punk-rock from
this relatively new Southern California-based band. Musically this is a
pretty straight forrward take on the genre, but remarkable qualities being
the almost machine perfect drum playing and the quite professional sounding
guitar leads (nothing DISCHARGE did comes close). This band shows some real
promise for taking a classic genre to a whole new lavel. The cover art and
logos are by the always amazing Nesa (Doomsday Graphics).

DROPDEAD / UNHOLY GRAVE |
Split |
Reissue of this Japanese release that had been out of print for over a decade, both sides freshly mastered in 2014 at New Alliance. The Dropdead tracks were recorded live at Sunlight Studio in Stockholm, Sweden by Thomas Skogsberg back in 1998/99, legendary studio for classics by Entombed, Dismember, Wolfpack etc. Kurt Ballou at God City did some audio magic on them in in February 2003. The Unholy Grave tracks were recorded at studio "Music House" by Takaho, November 2002. A total of ten tracks here, five by each band. Furious, fast and brutal political HC from Dropdead. Noisy blasting grind from Unholy Grave. |

DROPDEAD / CONVERGE |
Split |
A pairing of two legendary bands celebrating their joint twenty year history within the Punk/Hardcore genre. Both songs were recorded at Kurt Ballou's God City Studios in early 2011, and mastered by John Golden (Neurosis, Melvins, etc). "Runaway" from Converge is an instant classic for the band, unrelenting in its speed and emotional ferocity from beginning to end. While Dropdead's "Paths of Glory" is an unforgettable political punk/hardcore anthem, that proves that the years behind the band have only strengthened their hold on the battlefront of the true underground. |

Nine songs of grinding crustcore that's delivered with relentless ferocity and nicely crisp, crusty and detailed sounds. FEAR OF GOD |
Pneumatic Slaughter |
Recorded live in Switzerland, February 1988. 7" originally released on Atrocious Records, USA in 1991 and now reissued by Anomie Records, Germany. For what this band is worth, they rule. They're long since broken up now, and in their time together they didn't get quite the opportunity to output a lot of great material. But one thing is for sure, this band's 1990 effort, "Pneumatic Slaughter", brings not just raw and uncontrollable animosity to the table, but a sound that is unique, fresh, and easily distinguishable from the massive up rise of grind being seen at this point in time with bands such as Carcass and their "Reek of Putrification", and goregrind only just starting to peek its way into the world. This buried gem of an album can/should be looked upon years from now as one of the forerunners of the grand sound we grinders love to hear in our daily dose of crusted brutality. |
