	SABBAT	Envenom	SABBAT's glorious debut album finally reissued on Heavy Vinyl plus an A2 sized poster! This is top quality early black metal, more similar to the groovy/traditional Venom, Bathory, and Celtic Frost releases. Certain songs, like Satan Bless You and Reek of Cremation, are straight up neckbreakers that have nothing to do with the "cult" and "necro" aspects that are associated with the second wave and beyond. There are influences of a lot of different genres found here, from punk to plain old rock and roll, and it works. The vocals here are like a more raspy Cronos with some Sarcofago and even Macabre type styles mixed in.. Guitars-solid. There is some great soloing on this disc, especially on the faster speed songs like Sixth Candle and Carcassvoice. Looking for some viking and doom influence? On this split they deliver two more masterpieces of skullcrushing power, adding elements of doom and Swedish death metal into their sound. This album shows the bands' personal taste of music/hardcore they listen to as the obvious choices of influence on this record. Its somewhere between Infest, Think I Care, Cro Mags, Judge, Pentagram, Black Sabbath, Eyehategod and Youth of Today and they sure can bring on the mosh. I was beyond honored to be asked to release this record after Six Weeks could not follow through at the last second. 	YACOPSAE	Einstwalige vernichtung	Official FOAD Records' reissue of YACOPSAE's 39 song ultrablasting full length that came out in 2000 on the highly missed Slap A Ham Records, mother label of the best PowerViolence records of all times. Due to a bizarre request of the band, we had to release this as "Boy edition" (450 copies) with baby blue vinyl, cover and inner sleeve - "Girl edition" (450 copies) with lady pink vinyl, cover and inner sleeve - "Black edition" (100 copies) with black vinyl, black print on black gatefold cover (handnumbered) and black paper bag. Musically this is one of the fastest records in the history of HC, YACOPSAE's turbo-charged PowerViolence/Thrash is a model of precision and accuracy. Whereas most fastcore has an impact like a clusterbomb, YACOPSAE are more like a laser guided weapon used for surgical strikes. Every one of the 39 songbursts on this album is like a kick in the groin - short and violent, but forged to leave a lasting impression. If you thought the evolution of power violence was inevitably leading towards mathcore or screamo, then think again sucka because YACOPSAE is the zenith of the species. This album was hands down one of the greatest releases on Slap A Ham ever.
