Finally, 3 long years after „viva viva threatening“ came out, the now-denial deliver their 3rd album „mundane lullaby“. And it´s no surprise, it is a big step forward. The sound is very good, still dirty, but powerful and huge like a bulldozer, with love for the detail, which makes it fun to listen to the record over and over again to smell the diesel and find something new with every listening. Yeah, it´s still a hardcore/ punk record, it´s still pissed off, but the limitations are gone. There is rock every now and then and it suits them well. And it´s good to hear a real 2nd guitar again. On top of 12 great songs, varied in speed and mood,you get a well thought out lsd-influenced cover artwork with rabbits and flowers and lyrics that are far away from your average punk-cliché, but still angry and to the point.

PESD is a new studio project formed by Smoku and Amoniak. Smoku was guitar player of Post Regiment and Falarek Band, who was the one responsible for their sound. Amoniak was a singer of legendary warsaw band Tregedia (their songs were re-recorded by Post Regiment on their 3rd full length "Tragedia wg Post Regiment).
This record consists of 14 songs with heavy influence from old Polish punk sound from the 80's. You can surely hear Smoku in the guitar parts and harmonies, and harsh and fast Amoniak's songwritting. There is a definite Post Regiment touch in it, but also parts remining Deuter, TZN Xenna, Dezerter and even first Siekiera recordings - maybe because of the harsh and powerful Amoniak's vocal. Production is really good and complex, you can hear a lot of studio effort put in it, while it is not overprodused - it has the punk harshness... American version on Prank!!

Discography part 1 - Damage is done/Defiance of power

It contains all the tracks from their selfproduced flexi and their first album on Manic Ears RIPCORD definded the english hardcore between 1984 and 1988. Along with HERESY, the STUPIDS, DOOM and EXTREME NOISE TERROR, they were one of the best bands that England had to offer at that time when Cal had gotten his balls sewed on again and the technicolor punks from Kings Road became extinct. RIPCORD, though from Weston-Super-Mare would have loved being a D.C. (TEEN IDOLS / G.I.) or Boston band (S.S.D. / D.Y.S.), but they were one of these bands that could easily outrival their paragons.

Discography Vol. 2 - Harvest hardcore / Poetic justice

Influenced by brutal US bands like Siege, Negative Approach among others, they managed to create a sound of their own by melting together this sound with their UK roots and were among the best bands that came from this fucking island called Great Britain in the late 80's. This is the 2nd part of their discography containig the best songs from the "Harvest Hardcore" 7" plus their best but last LP "Poetic Justice".

Discography part 3: From Demo Slaves to Radio Waves

The third and final LP in the series documenting the recorded works of one of the most remarkable hardccore bands from the UK during the late 80's.
