AG149 – DESTROY ALL GONDOLAS – Riverbero Dall’Abisso LP

In Destroy All Gondolas’ “Riverbero dell’Abisso” we sink into the dark depths of that “Satan’s Lagoon” from which the band started out in defining their sonic journey. Instro-surf punk and black-thrash metal is the dark matter, the radioactive mud at the bottom of this Abyss, that DAG have used to shape their art, called Black Surf Punk. The echoes of anarchic bombs, reverberate mixed with the grotesque and mocking laughter of the skulls of shipwrecked pirates whose carcasses cover the bottom of the Abyss. On the surface, the rumble of a city in flames and the subtle noise of the stiletto that cuts the throat of the infidel, the sound of the Günxer as he does his macabre work.

From their sandbank, where they have established an extra-territorial reality, DAG exercise their right to a beer belly worthy of ZZ TOP and MOTÖRHEAD. The great binge of poison and nihilism before the great wave to surf under the gaze of the black eyes on the Lagoon of Satan.
