Pressed in a limited quantity, and receiving unfortunate distribution before Slaughterhouse folded, a number of these never made it in to covers. New, slightly different covers were made for this release; 7 songs of negative hardcore from a band whose fond moniker was the (aptly titled) New Jersey Asshole Brigade. Singer Jesse went on to front SOMETHING IN THE WATER.

Nosferatus Subworld offer two tracks of fast, dark, and somewhat melodic crustcore. They remind me of American band The Total End as they have the same way of working catchy riffs into powerful crustcore. And the result? Fucking brilliant! If this lot had come from Japan or the USA they would've been huge. Please, I urge you to do your best to prevent this from slipping under the radar of the punks worldwide as it must be heard - trust me on this one. Ultimo Preso start out with a real heavy riff, but after a quick glance at the track listing I suspect that the speed will increase somewhere in those seven tracks, and surely it does. They maintain about the same speed as their mates from the other side of this split at first, but as they work their way through this the blastbeats appears more and more often. Over the past couple of years, HAPPY BASTARDS have become one of the staples of the Eugene punk movement, and supporting almost every touring DIY band who come their way. They have also self-released a split LP with HUMAN CERTAINTY and did a brief tour out to Minneapolis for CLIT-Fest '05. Musically they play fast and powerful hardcore punk and are fronted by the remarkable voice of ("The Anti") Christy. On these twelve new songs, the HAPPY BASTARDS defy their name, playing in-your-face andf aggressive tunes with a message of anger, fear and despair (summed up brilliantly in Marald's cover art). Think of raspy female vocals similar to Mia Zapata from THE GITS played over an intense assault of thrashy, but tuneful punk.

This split was released out by czechs Samuel, Korek and german's WIFAGENAlabels. It's two german's bands which i hear for first time. I can't forgot for great, imposant and dark cover artwork with scient fiction on cruel reality touch. IDIOT SAVANT with 5 songs are a nice surprise with 2 vocals, one is emo violence's screamin, other is darkest one, sometimes sounding like some black metal, and all is ruled by some metal riffs of guitars. On the flip side are WHO'S MY SAVIOUR, filling my ears with dark metal hardcore out fit with emo violence's vocals. Most of the lirics are in english, some are in german. But everything is becaming in very dark style, so if you like really dark stuff, this LP is recommended.
