Deathfiend applies the same influences that built the foundation of Obituary and Darkthrone in a similar way: evident, but used to build a personality of its own. And that's how most of the best (and catchier) bands are born.

This time, the end result is some kind of crust as fuck death-doom monolith, scattered with heavy riffs, subtle industrial, noise and psychedelic nods, and good lyrics!

Plus, it's awesome to see members of classic seminal bands (Police Bastard, Doom, Sore Throat, Full Of Hatred) still up to terrific and refreshing stuff!
