BACK IN STOCK!!! Original press 2002. CONTRAVENE is a band from Phoenix, AZ that formed in the fall of 1999. They were an anarcho/peacepunk band with metal influences and political lyrics. They shared strong beliefs about equality, animal rights and (still are) strongly anti-racist/anti-homophobic.
